Don’t just believe the hype, come see it for yourself!

Maylands has undergone a transformation in recent years, as it’s seen an upsurge in development with the introduction of trendy cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques moving into Eighth Avenue and Whatley Crescent. And they don’t appear to be stopping!

However, there are still the usual suspects that made this suburb great before: Maylands Golf Course, Maylands Yacht Club, Maylands Waterland, Tranby Tea House and the effervescent Swan River.

If cafes and shopping aren’t your thing, then you can always make use of the state-of-the-art community facilities at the RISE complex that includes a gymnasium and library and is home to the Maylands Hawkers Markets November – March.

Move it outdoors and you have fantastic barbecue facilities, tennis courts plus kayaking, fishing and the Maylands boat ramp on the Swan River.

Bike riding and walking tracks are available along the Swan River and the train line if you want to get out and get your heart rate up. Otherwise if you’re in a hurry, there is Maylands Train Station within walking distance and easy access to the freeways.

There really is a buzz to the area, however don’t just believe the Hype - come see it for yourself!
